HST ATM Center: HST provides a comprehensive management tool for self-service terminal networks. HST ATM Center is a proven, fully integrated ATM Management solution that delivers significant reductions in operational and technology costs while improving system availability and time to market for new services. It is easily deployed on any combination of WOSA/XFS compliant ATM, cash deposit terminals, cash recyclers and kiosk devices.

The modular solution consists of the following components:
Terminal Monitoring captures and processes data coming from devices or application software. All data is captured, processed and sent to the server, including information such as hardware errors or warnings, sensor failure or activation, application status such as Online/Offline/Out-of-Service, etc... The server will keep real time information to be analyzed and dispatched to field services. The Terminal Monitoring module offers full access to the integrated hardware which not only displays the devices’ general state, it also allows for commands to be sent directly for testing and remote repair purposes. With the aid of these functions, all peripheral devices can be centrally monitored and provided with proper remote support. This solution integrates with Issue Tracking Systems and can automatically open a trouble ticket. The system can select and present the history of any set of devices in simple and useful graphics and tables in order to strategically pinpoint problematic areas. In this manner Terminal Monitoring becomes a useful tool for forecasting and planning.

Through the Terminal Control Panel, operators can check details about devices connected, firmware versions, supplies and counters data as well as general information like location map, terminal type, IP, etc… Operators accessing the main monitor view panel can get quick information about general errors, connection status and terminal supplies.

Key Features:
  • Web interface with user and password access under strict security rules
  • Terminal group support for multiple views
  • Multi-institution support allowing distribution of views for a specific group without sharing all terminal data
  • In-depth and on-line tracking of terminal communications line, device status and terminal alarms
  • Automatic generation of tickets and messages for operators and easy integration with customers trouble ticket services
  • Remote commands support for terminals or group of terminals depending upon operator security level – reset, in service, out of service, test cash, etc..
  • Historic data allowing tracking of all events and SLA measurement
  • Online terminal balance for cash withdrawals or deposits per cassette
Electronic Journal Management is used to track and audit transactions performed on a terminal. Terminal operators may solve complaints on failed transactions in real time. EJM will extract all local journal data stored during transactions and machine usage. It can be configured to perform automatic settlements or as many times as you would like on a daily basis. Journal files are automatically processed and sent to the server to be analyzed and stored, all files are encrypted and signed to execute a secure file transfer. Operators through an on-line panel can access the status of EJM files uploaded from terminals.

Key Features:
  • Transparency to the terminal application, runs as a service without interfering with any of the other applications
  • Multi-vendor and multi-platform, runs on almost every type of terminal
  • Automatic scheduling and collection of EJM files
  • Automatic settlement
  • Optimize data transfer for large terminal networks in order to avoid traffic over the network
  • Centralized storage of the EJM files and web interface to access the system data as settlement data, transactions which are processed and stored on the server database
  • Support for on-demand commands for settlement and file transfer any time during the operation
  • Scalable to suit any terminal network size
  • Automatic report generation for reconciliation data between terminals and the authorization switch
  • Updates to software and configurations are handled automatically from central servers, monitoring mechanisms indicate problem situations and delayed EJM uploads
  • User interface via web browser to view reports and files
  • PCI compliant, all sensitive data is secure and protected
Remote Key Management (KMS) eliminates the need for custodian travel, lost time and resources, your ATM will never be idle waiting for key insertion. This component will provide EPP keys insertion. The HST KMS implements major terminal based protocols like Diebold, NCR, Wincor and Cryptera using X.509 certificates and PKCS messages or digital signatures to ensure data integrity. Each keyboard (EPP) is registered on the server side with its serial number; certificates and configuration parameter keys are exchanged based on a secure protocol message. The system complies with PCI and brand specifications and will perform MasterKey and WorkingKey exchange between terminals and the server using a secure protocol.

Key Features:
  • Multi-vendor ATM support
  • Full compliance with brands and PCI
  • Easy integration
  • Doesn’t interfere with Terminal Application, runs as a service to exchange and insert new keys
Advertising Management – HST provides a complete solution for advertising screens and campaign distribution for self-service terminals. This module allows you to improve and enhance contact with your customers providing a targeted message. The Advertising Management module allows you to select and program a desired campaign and air it on time and within the required timeframe.

Key Features:
  • Smart configuration based on date, time and terminal group (locations)
  • Rapidly change marketing content at one or more targeted locations without impacting terminal availability
  • Secure file transfer
  • BIN based marketing capabilities
Inventory Management: HST inventory software provides an integrated and complete asset management for self-service terminals. It automatically scans and updates every device data and firmware data within your terminal network.

Key Features:
  • Keeps track of device parts and serial numbers as well as firmware versions
  • Detects when new hardware is installed or removed
  • Detects when any changes are made to device
  • Provides comprehensive reports
Transaction Monitoring provides complete information regarding transactions occurring on a self-service terminal network. Operators can get on-line data about transactions and customer behavior and cardholder status at any point in the day. It enables operators to fast track and audit online usage in order to handle network errors.

Key Features:
  • On-line transaction tracking and auditing
  • Shows transaction status and terminal usage
  • Shows terminal and network availability and per transaction view
Transaction Routing & Processing: This component is designed to work with a switch solution or as switch software. It handles all traffic coming from terminals, receiving all transactions using ISO protocol (ATM-Server) and process at the server side to obtain and generate reports for transactions performed, common user mistakes or cardholder status. It is also used in a multi-channel environment, providing conversion to WebServices or other protocols used by the client.

ATM Front-End and Switching: This component is designed to operate as a front-end or switch to ATM terminals. In Front-End mode, it concentrates all the communications between ATMs and a central location and forwards transactions to the customer switch or authorizer. In Switching mode it is capable to dispatch transactions to multiple authorizers/networks based on transaction type and card BIN. In either configuration, the software handles all the configuration of the terminals.
